The past couple of days was dreadful. There was water everywhere and alot of people without power. Sadly I lived in one of the worst hit areas in Middle Tennessee. My best friend that lives in Louisiana actually didn't know about the flooding at all cause it was rarely mentioned in the national news down there and only since the third has other news stations realized how serious the situation has become. About 20 fatalities was confirmed, and more since the waters are receding, and the reserved water levels are critically low here. I have been volunteering to help other in this disaster since May 2nd. Most other people in my neighborhood has done the same and I have family donating to the American Red Cross. The good thing is that the waters are slowly leaving the Nashville area, but Downtown is still affected and so as other cities.
